David Cluff is Executive Vice President Enterprise Risk Management & Chief Risk Officer at Home Trust Company & has over 20 years of experience in credit and enterprise risk management.
Prior to assuming leadership of the Enterprise Risk Management group in July 2017, David held the role of Chief Credit Officer where he was responsible for developing and implementing the Company’s credit risk governance framework.
Before joining Home Trust in 2012, David spent twelve years at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) where his last role was Director, Credit Risk Division. During his tenure with OSFI, David developed a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape for financial institutions. David held positions at CIBC and RBC prior to joining OSFI.
David obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from Mount Allison University and Master of Business Administration from Saint Mary’s University. He is a CFA charterholder and holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Energy Risk Professional (ERP) designations.
